Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern use of cartcode.co.uk and Cart Code's business development, marketing, training and learning platform.

Optional analytics, personalised opportunity tracking and direct marketing are not conditions of using the platform and are controlled separately.

1. Operator and contact

The operator and data controller is CartCode Marketing Agency (شركة كارت كود – CART CODE), Egyptian registration number 131457, with its registered office at Al Yasmeen 5, First Settlement, New Cairo, Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt. Its representative is Dr Hassan El Maraghy, General Manager. Questions and formal notices may be sent through the Contact page or to [email protected].

UK Representative: Dr Hassan El Maraghy, 61 Hornbeam Road, Cumbernauld, Glasgow, G67 2QE, United Kingdom. Telephone: +44 7591 978728. Email: [email protected].

2. Eligibility and accounts

The service is not intended for children. You must be at least 18, or have lawful adult authority where applicable, to create an account or purchase a service. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Platform services

Cart Code provides business development and marketing resources, training, learning, consultations, communications and related support. A specific offer, order confirmation or service description may add terms for that service. We may improve or discontinue non-contracted features while respecting paid entitlements and applicable law.

4. Orders, payment and cancellation

An order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm acceptance. Prices, currency, inclusions and any cancellation terms are shown before purchase. Payments are handled through the identified payment provider; Cart Code does not need to store full card details. Statutory cancellation, refund and consumer rights are not excluded.

5. Training and learning use

Access is personal unless an offer expressly permits team use. Learners must not share protected materials, video tokens or account access. Progress, submissions, feedback, certificates and achievements are governed by the applicable learning rules and are not optional marketing data.

6. Communications and acceptable use

You must not use contact, support, discussions or messaging for unlawful content, harassment, impersonation, malware, spam or unauthorised commercial messaging. We may retain and review communications as necessary to provide support, protect users, investigate misuse and meet legal obligations.

7. Security and platform protection

We may use proportionate server logs, trusted network information, account activity and anti-abuse controls to protect accounts, payments, content, video delivery and the service. Optional marketing consent is not used as the legal authority for necessary security processing.

8. Intellectual property

Cart Code and its licensors retain rights in platform content, branding, software and materials. You receive only the limited personal or business-use licence stated with the relevant service. You retain rights in lawful content you submit and grant us the limited rights necessary to host, review and deliver it.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse, non-payment, rights protection or legal compliance. Where appropriate we will explain the reason and provide a review or support path. Termination does not remove accrued payment, intellectual-property or lawful record-keeping obligations.

10. Privacy and optional choices

The Privacy Notice explains personal-data processing. Necessary Terms acceptance is separate from statistical analytics choices, personalised opportunity consent and direct-marketing preferences. Continuing to browse is not consent to optional processing.

11. Availability and liability

We take reasonable care to provide the platform but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. Any other limitation must be read with the specific service terms and applicable law.

12. Changes and governing law

We identify the version and effective date. Material contractual changes may require fresh acceptance; Privacy or cookie-notice changes may instead require notice or acknowledgement. These Terms apply subject to the governing law and courts that have jurisdiction under the contract and mandatory consumer law; nothing in them removes a mandatory right or forum available to you.

13. Protected video access and content protection

Protected course video is personal to the authorised learner. You must not copy, download, record, redistribute, resell or share protected video or access authority, help another person obtain it, or remove, obscure or bypass a watermark or other protection. The controls are designed to deter, limit, detect and investigate misuse; Cart Code does not claim that every possible form of copying is technically impossible.

By default, one active protected-video playback is permitted at a time. If another protected playback starts, you may be offered a clear ‘Move playback here’ action; completing that takeover interrupts the older player. A time-bounded Super Admin exception may be used only through the authorised operational process.

Protected playback may be monitored for access integrity and may display a learner-specific visible watermark. The exact session snapshot may contain the full learner name, verified email, verified phone, CartCode account ID, a short forensic playback code, course, lesson, trusted server time, trusted IP prefix, country, and safe network or session context when available. Date of birth is not displayed.

Confirmed protected-video misuse may stop the affected player and create a temporary video-only restriction. A human reviewer can clear, restore or extend that restriction through the authorised review process. Progress, achievements, enrolments and non-video access remain preserved and available where they otherwise apply. Any broader account-hold action requires a separate human-owned referral and authority.
